I bought the fine/detailer one and I can say, it's the best fineBwater brush I ever have! It's pointed tip helps me paint more fine details!
This pentel aquash water brush was the first pentel water brush I own. My first impression was that it has a really weird shape compared to my usual brushes that's why it never really occurred to me to buy one, but my friend seemed to love it, so why not try it? I did a comparative test amongst my other medium water brushes, and surprisingly the aquash did better. The well holds enough water, compared to my Derwent (which has a considerably small well), the water flow wasn't too harsh nor was it too light. Cleaning the brush itself doesn't require too much water either. In terms of ease, it easy to hold just like my Kuretake waterbrush, in fact there wasn't much difference. The brush is also great. It doesn't look like it'll lose it's shape easily, because my medium and broad Kuretake is starting to lose it's shape. It also doesn't absorb too much color that blends with the water inside the well because one problem I have with the Derwent brush was that the brush absorbs too much water that it muddies the well too much making it harder to clean and it sometimes mixes with the new colors every dip.
Overall, I am quite happy with my first aquash from craftylane :) thanks for the quick re-stocking of your aquash! It's always marked as sold out whenever I visit, so I got lucky when it was re-stocked :)
Soft tip. Ideal for calligraphy and painting.
Best waterbrush i've ever used!! ❤❤
I've had it for quite sometime now, and all that I can say is that it is the best waterbrush I've owned, the waterflow is great, the brush maintains its pointed tip, easy to clean. The mini medium is best for on-the-go painting and even the regular ones are also great for travel. I use it very often, great for different techniques, it's very useful.
EASY TO USE AND ONE OF THE BEST WATER BRUSH I'VE TRIED SO FAR. IT MAKES WATER COLOR CALLIGRAPHY AND DRAWING MORE FUN AND EASIER TO DO. :)
I've tried other brands but this is my favorite so far! :)
Putting water in this brush pen is easy. And the quality of its brush is lovely! I love using these water brush pens from Pentel.
